2007

Launches its first soft-feel, fully-certified FR/Arc garments.

2008

Family investment creates the ProGARM brand and a laser-focus on arc-flash & FR specialism.

2010

Supplying blue-chip clients including Balfour Beatty, Wincanton & Certas Energy

2013

Askas business is sold and the business doubles down on arc-flash leadership and technical protection.

2014

First six-figure national PPE contract secured (£850 k).

2017

FlamePro brought into the family

FlamePro - a business trading since 2005 was acquired and brought into the group of companies with ProGARM. This took us into the defence and security space for the first time and we re-developed the product range to be world leading.

2020

Adapted during COVID to support customers and protect jobs. Expanded product innovation and international reach. FlamePro wins its first long-term UK MOD firefighting-PPE contract (10-year / 35 000 garment programme).

2021

Defence Fire & Rescue contract with 35 000 ensemble items delivered, establishing FlamePro in the Defence market

2022

Opens a 120-person production facility in Bulgaria, boosting in-house capacity, and supplies 10 000 extreme-climate sleeping-bag systems to UK MOD.

2022

FlamePro expanded into Australia and the Middle East, opening our first international offices

2023 - 2025

>300 000 soldier systems items (bergans, liners, kit-bags) and 10 000 entrenching tools shipped to UK MOD for Ukraine support.

2025

£14.5m contract won with UK MOD

2026

First wearable & rapid-deploy signature-management prototypes move from lab build to field evaluation, while our female-first complex-geometry body-armour system begins MOD user trials.

2026

Arcus brand launched replacing FlamePro Defence, combining 21-year textile heritage with focused multispectral, soldier-system & rapid-capability expertise.
